Dr. Terry C. Linneman
Dentist in Prairie Village, KS
Prairie Dental Care
Growing up in Illinois and Ohio, Terry knew by Junior High School that he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. After his parents moved to St. Louis, he transferred from Ohio State to the University of Missouri and then on to the School of Dentistry at UMKC. After graduating in 1975 he decided to make Kansas City his home.
From his earliest days in private practice, Dr. Linneman earned the praise of his patients for taking the extra time to make pain free dental appointments a priority. Many have commented over the years that they no longer get anxious before their dental visits.
Dr. Linneman's commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in clinical dentistry is reflected in his membership in the following professional associations.
- The Academy of General Dentistry
- The Seattle Study Club
- The Schuster Center for Professional Development
- The Great Plains Study Club
- The Kansas City Prosthetic Study Club
Between January of 2003 and December 2010, Dr. Linneman has accumulated over 350 hours of continuing education credit, far beyond the State of Kansas' 30 hours per year requirement. With so much to learn and changes occurring at a rapid pace, Dr. Linneman believes this is what he needs to do to maintain a "state of the art" practice.
In addition, keeping up with new technology is a necessity in order to provide patients with the highest level of care. For example, his office now offers digital imaging which significantly reduces the radiation exposure for x-rays.
